  Was a patient there for many years. On my first visit, I was prescribed Oxycontin, Somas and Lunesta, for a bulging disk. So began years of addiction. If you showed addictive behavior, like running out of meds too soon, cancel appts, or tested with no opiates in your system, even though you are on a opiate regime, you were warned repeatedly, but no action was taken...until physicians came under scrutiny, then you were cut off, receiving a discharge letter, leaving you in full blown addiction, without medical care. I was handed from doctor to doctor, then to nurse practitioners. There was a revolving door of physicians, with the exception of Dr. Hale. Truth be told, if you have excellent insurance, you have a golden ticket for procedures that didn't work and a steady supply of drugs. For a bulging disc, I was prescribed 120 oxys, lortabs or Norco, (in the very beginning), 90 Somas and 30 Lunestas, increasing to 160, and eventually 190, all on my word that I was in pain, even though my behavior, from time to time, violated the contract they make you sign. I was a cash cow, until the state began cracking down on physicians, then I was tossed aside, heavily addicted. I ended up in the hospital with full blown withdraws. I was able to get clean, and remain so, but many people don't, having no choice but to go to the streets. This facility did not offer to wean patients, or substitute non-narcotic solutions...they threw us to the wolves. They didn't give a damn about their patients; only for their own hides, when in jeopardy.
